Best Dividend Paying Stocks Company to Buy Stocks — Investors and analysts have chosen the Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company as the Best Dividend Paying Stocks Company. PLDT was awarded with the “Most Committed to Strong Dividend Policy” and “Best in Investor Relations” in an annual survey conducted by FinanceAsia magazine, one of the leading finance publications in Asia.
This is the second consecutive year where PLDT topped the said categories.
FinanceAsia gathered more than 330 responses from carefully selected regional investors and analysts to come up with its Asia’s Best Companies poll.
For three years in a row starting 2007, PLDT has paid a 30% special dividend on top of the 70% regular dividend. This reflects PLDT’s strong earnings and cashflow position.
PLDT value their investors and have given priority to keeping stock investors’ lines of communication with them open. The telecommunication company is committed to ensuring that their best stock investors have access to updates on PLDT, not only during good times, but more importantly, during challenging times.
PLDT President and CEO Napoleon L. Nazareno said the dividend policy of PLDT further reflects PLDT’s commitment to its stocks shareholders.
No doubt, PLDT is the Philippines’ best dividend paying stocks company and its stocks are one of the best stocks to invest in.
Hi, your website is very helpful. Do you know other stocks that pay good dividends aside from PLDT? or do you know a credible training center for stock investment which we could ask the criterias in choosing shares/stocks?
many thanks.

Well I have a small share in TEL if you are new in the stock market you might get bored holding it because it is not that heavily traded at its cost is quite high at about the Php 2,500.00 level. But if you are for the long haul it would be nice to hold some of TEL and wait for the dividends that they usually declare, so advice is this one is a long term stock holding about 1 – 3 years to reap gains via dividends…
Hi Louis are you stock broker yourself or you got from broker. I was planning to get into this but I got advice from a friend, that the set back is if you want to sell it (let say you need cash). you still have to go to broker which most of the time will say “we have to wait for other holder to sell it”. My point is it is not readily convertible into cash, is it right?
what tel stock you have? from PLDT?
