Loans for TESDA Graduate Applying for Job Overseas – Graduate of the Technical Education and Skill Development Authority (TESDA) who want to work abroad can soon get loans from any government or private banks as the House of Representatives passed a bill making the graduates qualified for the loans.
Rep. Jose Antonio Roxas of Pasay City authored the bill which mandates all government and private banks to extend loans to TESDA graduates to help them in applying for job overseas.
The congressman proposed the measure because of the failure of TESDA trainees to land good jobs, particularly overseas contract for which they were trained due the prohibitive cost of applying for jobs abroad. Consequently, graduate usually lay their education to waste and end up jobless.
I believe that this measure will surely became a law because it is the call of the time. This will surely decrease the unemployment rate in the country now that the many graduates from TESDA through the Pangulong Gloria Scholarships can now hope to land a good job overseas with a loan from the government and private financial institutions.
how about those who are not qualified to work abroad, but study in TESDA to acquire a skill to be able to work here in our country or to start a very small business but out of budget.
