Free Seminar for MSMEs and Would-be Entrepreneurs from DTI

Free seminar on business opportunities for the local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and would-be entrepreneurs will be conducted tomorrow, December 5 at the Lioc Kui Fraternity, Incorporated building along Sobrecarey St. in Barrio Obrero, Davao City.

DTI is targeting to gather at least 500 participants during the event tagged as Negosyo Seminar for the DTI One-Town, One-Product (OTOP) Program and MSMEs. The seminar will provide inputs to the participants especially in starting up and sustaining their business and how to find the right market for their products.

Renowned business consultants based in Manila were invited as resource persons for the one-day seminar like Ramon M. Lopez, executive director of the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE), which will talk about the relevance of the seminar.

Among the topics for discussion are:

*Dream, Believe, Achieve (finding the right business for you) by Ping Sotto, a Human Resource consultant and self-help guru

*Finding Business Opportunities and Choosing the Market for Your Business by Dean Pax Lapid of the Entrepreneurs School of Asia

*Developing and Innovating Actual Products and Services by Virgilio Espeleta, president and chief executive officer of Julie’s Franchise Corporation

*Marketing Your Business by George Soriano, director of the Philippine Social Enterprise Network

*Funding Your Business and Managing Your Finances by Tess Dimaculangan, managing partner of the Dimaculangan Consulting, Inc.

    I regret that i could not able to attend the enterprenuer seminar dated today dec.5, i just wanted to know if there is next schedule that would be conducted here in davao city?
