Using his Nokia 9500 Communicator, Oliver devised innovations through the use of the mobile features of the mini computer phone that effectively service his clients like maximizing the use of sending and receiving email, SMS, MMS, calls, browse the Internet and transfer files.
With the use of the Open Source Mobile Software services such as WorldMate, eBuddy messenger, Mobile Gmail-Java, Nokia Mobile Softwares, GPS/GPRS, Bluetooth, Wifi, and Infrared, Oliver make use of the mobile services to create his total business package.
Likewise, Alvin Kingson Tan, the NMEA grand prize winner, is the brain behind Technominds, Inc. This young entrepinoy uses his Nokia mobile phone to customized SMS and web applications based on the requirements of their clients. They have popular product called D-Loads, a universal loading platform that enables subscribers to purchase and sell mobile, Internet, landline, and online gaming prepaid load for a minimum investment. His company will also launch soon Txtcast, the first online SMS broadcast facility, which will enable users to send multiple messages in one click.
